This field covers topics such as the establishment of employment contracts, working conditions, wages, termination, severance pay, overtime, and occupational health and safety. Labor law is the branch of law that regulates the relationship between employees and employers. In Turkey, it is governed by Labor Law No. 4857 and covers employment contracts, working conditions, severance pay, overtime, and more.

Severance pay is granted to employees who have worked for at least one year and are unfairly dismissed by the employer. If the employee resigns, severance pay may be available under specific conditions (e.g., retirement, military service, marriage).

Labor courts handle disputes between employees and employers, including cases related to wrongful termination, wage claims, severance and notice pay, and reinstatement lawsuits.
